“The Dayara Bugyal Trek in Uttarakhand is home to one of the highest grasslands in the world, located some 3800 meters above sea level. In order to reach the hidden treasure of the Gharwal Himalaya, where wildflowers spread across the sweeping meadows beneath the snow-capped mountains, one must first trek the 10kms through the lush forests from Barsu, where this lone and vibrant mushroom protruded from the otherwise entirely green landscape.”
